Frozen Bees, 2026. On Saturday, January 17, 2026, the MTA NYCT Subway Concourse Yard in the Bronx, New York, was full of trains not needed for weekend service. Amongst them were an assortment R-68/R-68A/R-211A trains for the B Line. It is a sign of progress that a similar picture from several years ago was all R-68/R-68A cars. Though the yard is part of the B2 Division (IND), it is also frequently charged with storing A Division (IRT) cars, like the R-142/R-142A cars to the right. The track on the ramp in the rear leads to the 4/Jerome Line.
