Drill Motor Departure. Former Metropolitan Transportation Authority - MTA NYCT Subway R-3 Drill Motor 41 (Mangor, 1932) has been a resident of Coney Island Yard for many years. The engine has been out service, but stored. On Tuesday, August 31, 2021, it was sitting on the South Brooklyn Railroad in Brooklyn, New York just west of 2nd Avenue with the Manhattan skyline in the background. On Wednesday, September 1, 2021, it was moved to the Trolley Museum of New York in Kingston, New York, where it will join other former New York City equipment that is in the collection.
