Red Noses. With signs of spring beginning to show on the trees, CTDX GE P40BH 6711 (ex-CTDX 4803, exx-NJTR 4803, née-AMTK 820, P40DC) leads Hartford Line Train 6455 through Wallingford, Connecticut toward New Haven on Sunday, May 1, 2022. The engine was the first of Connecticut DOT's fleet of 12 GE P40DCs to return to the property after being rebuilt at Amtrak’s Beech Grove, Indiana shops. The consist pictured here is leased MBB built Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority - MBTA coaches, whose time in this service on this line will come to an end this month. They will be displaced by ex-VRE Maferesa Coaches owned by Connecticut, which will be made surplus when M8s enter on the Shore Line East service. Former @SEPTA - iseptaphilly.comBroad Street Line (Philadelphia) Subway Car B-1 #31 (1927-28, J.G.Brill) was brought to the area after retirement in the early 1980s to become part of “Chili Dog Chew Chew” restaurant. Since February 2001, it has been Trackside Brick Oven Pizzeria at 118 Dudley Avenue.
