URHS NYC Cars on Metro-North Railroad, Fordham, Bronx, New York

New York Central Cars Move Across Metro-North. On the overnight of November 11-12, 2024, United Railroad Historical Society of New Jersey's (URHS) 3-car set of former New York Central Railroad cars was moved from Stamford, Connecticut to Croton-On-Hudson, New York (Croton Harmon). The cars are Amtrak certified and have made many trips on the Hudson Line on Amtrak trains this year. They are rumored to be on the property for Metro-North's Employee Holiday Train. During this move, they visited several locations that they have not in many years, including Marble Hill (last visit in 2017) and the Harlem Line (unknown last visit).
