Off To Albany And Beyond. Former New York Central 20th Century Limited tail car “Hickory Creek” (Pullman obs/lounge/sleeper) and 43 (Budd tavern/lounge) held the markers on Amtrak Train 233 on Monday, November 7, 2022. Both cars are owned by the United Railroad Historical Society of New Jersey and are on the first leg of the journey to the Railroad Museum of New England for the Christmas Season as they approach the smokestacks of the former New York Central powerhouse at the Glenwood Station. This is the first visit of these cars to RMNE which is on a former New Haven Railroad line.
