Throwback VIA For Throwback Thursday. Recently, VIA Rail began moving retired equipment to the Montreal Maintenance Centre, where it is being prepared for scrapping. One of the locomotives sent there is P42DC 906, seen here on August 16, 2010, approaching the Bathurst Street Bridge in Toronto, Ontario, with the Rogers Centre in the background. In this photo, the locomotive wears its original paint scheme, though it was later repainted for VIA's 40th Anniversary.
