In the photo below, the cars are seen crossing the historic former Pennsylvania Railroad bridge over Shermans Creek in Duncannon, PA on Friday, May 19, 2022 on Amtrak Train 43 (Pennsylvanian). These cars ran together for many years on the "New England States", New York Central's Boston to Chicago overnight train and were reunited for this trip. The "Brook" shows the as delivered by Budd appearance, while the "Stream" shows NYC's modifications after Pullman service ceased and the railroad hired its own on-board personnel.
