Is The Light Bothering You? 5 years go today on July 7, 2018, Webb Rail LLC - WEBX's former New York Central Railroad Budd built Pullman obs/diner/sleeper "Babbling Brook" (WEBX 800007) was sitting on the bumping block at Boston's South Station after arriving on the Amtrak Lake Shore Limited on the prior evening. To the left, MBTA (MBTX) 1128 (GP40MC) is on the double ended Cape Flyer while to the right is Amtrak (AMTK) 101 (P42DC) and an Acela power car are all also facing the block. While at the time the very bright daylight conditions made this photo questionable, today all of this is covered, and so this view is no longer available. -with John Webb III
