Meet The Metz. On July 25, 2020, former New York Central Railroad Budd built Pullman obs/diner/sleeper "Babbling Brook" (WEBX 800007) was holding the markers on Amtrak Train 14 (Coast Starlight) as it crossed Elm Avenue in Metz, California. The original name that the Southern Pacific gave this area was Chalone, but it was renamed after W.H.H. Metz, the first postmaster of the post office in this area.
