How close was it? With the former New York Central Railroad cars Webb Rail/Babbling Brook on Amtrak 239 and the United Railroad Historical Society of NJ -URHS/Hickory Creek on Amtrak 48 on 6/20/2017, it was going to take precise timing to get the combo. After seeing adjusted arrival times, and picking a spot near the Newburgh-Beacon Bridge, it was a close as we could come to catching a meet. Off by about 60 seconds......it was that close to catching these veterans of the streamline era together.
