It Really Does Work. When visitors to the NY Transit Museum enter the Nicholas Pantelides Memorial Signal Tower, they will see signs telling them that it is an actual operating tower. The model board shows A, C, and G trains on the nearby track, and the interlocking machine still controls the switches at the crossover by the museum. On Friday, September 16, 2022, an MTA NYCT employee pulls the lever to activate the switch, getting ready to move equipment out of the museum for the “Parade Of Trains” event.
