Amtrak 49 (Lake Shore Limited) - AMTK 708 706 (P32AC-DM) 9704 (P42C). The now standard reverse consist from NYP-ALB, with a few twists - AMTK 9704 was added for a 'test run', along with a deadheading AmFleet coach. The train was running late, and so would have been in the dark the next day.

Amtrak On The Hudson Line Before The Clocks Change. Saturday, November 1, 2025, was the last day of Daylight Saving Time for the year, and a good time to be trackside in Scarborough, New York, for Amtrak in the afternoon on the Hudson Line. As it turned out, all three trains would have been in the dark the next day. All three trains also provided a variety of paint schemes to go along with the fall color still on the trees. As for late day light...we will see you again in March.
