Amtrak 48 (Lake Shore Limited) with a poetic pair for power - AMTK 710 (P32AC-DM, Phase III) and AMTK 130 (P42DC, Phase II), a pair of paint schemes that might have been seen together in the mid 1970s.

Amtrak On The Hudson Line Before The Clocks Change. Saturday, November 1, 2025, was the last day of Daylight Saving Time for the year, and a good time to be trackside in Scarborough, New York, for Amtrak in the afternoon on the Hudson Line. As it turned out, all three trains would have been in the dark the next day. All three trains also provided a variety of paint schemes to go along with the fall color still on the trees. As for late day light...we will see you again in March.
