Amtrak Cascades, AMTK 466, Seattle, Washington
Cascades Wash In Washington. Workers at the Amtrak Yard in Seattle, Washington, gave AMTK 466 (F59PHI, EMD) the hand-wash treatment on September 2, 2008. It is ironically nose-to-nose with F40NPCU (Non-Powered Cab Unit) AMTK 90340 (née-AMTK 340), which was both its predecessor when it was an F40PH and, after its rebuild, its partner in moving Amtrak Cascades passengers. In 2018, this unit was one of the 21 F59PHIs that was sold to Metra.
