Blue skies, white picket fences, and steam trains! On Saturday, June 25, 2016, the Volunteer Railroaders and the Black River & Western Railroad operated a photographers' special through trackage not normally used for their passenger operation in downtown Flemington, New Jersey. One purpose of the trip was to be a fundraiser, so that parts of their route like this can be upgraded for more frequent usage.
