Coming back to the Windy City! Chicago Transit Authority recently completed a deal with the Fox River Trolley Museum to reacquire 6101-6102 (St. Louis Car Company, 1950) for the Heritage Fleet. The cars will be moved August 14-15., 2017. When I saw the cars at the museum on 7/12/2009, little did we know that they might be back up on "The Loop" one day! The twin headlights and outside conductor controls are unique amongst the surviving 6000s.
