Homeward Bound! The sign on the TD Garden so proclaims for Paul Simon’s upcoming concert date as the MBTA Commuter Rail 1035 (F40PH-2C) crosses the Charles River on Sunday, February 18, 2018. While standing here on the pedestrian overpass in North Point Park I reflected on visits that I had made many years ago and how the entire area has completely changed around the railroad.
