Charger Under Wires. On Sunday, March 29, 2026, MTA Metro-North Railroad Train 2637 was heading to Brewster, New York, when it passed through Mount Pleasant, New York. The train is led by Siemens SC42-DM MNCW 305, one of Metro-North's new dual-mode locomotives, which have been starting to show up on the Harlem Line. This run is a Sunday-only deadhead that sets up the Wassaic Direct weekday service. While many of the views of the railroad in this area have become obstructed by tree growth, there are still a few small open spots.
