On June 13, 2022, Frontier Metals crews were at the New York & New Jersey Railroad yard in Brooklyn, New York, to prepare Metropolitan Transportation Authority - MTA NYCT Subway Budd R-32s for shipping. The cars were taken off their trucks by crane and placed on custom flat cars to be transported by barge to New Jersey, and eventually interchanged to CSX for the trip to Ohio.
