The new look. Reading and Northern Railroad 5018 (SD50, ex-CSXT 8507, neé-Seaboard 8507, EMD 1983) has received new paint, and a new paint scheme for the R&N. Announced as the idea of ownership, management, and employees, it represents a departure from the Reading Railroad yellow and green that clads the rest of its freight units. Seen here at the Port Clinton, PA roundhouse on Thursday, August 13, 2020, it was announced that it will be on display this weekend (Saturday, August 15, 2020 and Sunday, August 16, 2020) in Jim Thorpe, PA for all to see.
