Late on the night of Monday, May 11, 2026, R211A Option Cars (South) 3741-3744, 3854-3850 (North) were testing on the A Line, seen here at the 181 Street Station in the Washington Heights neighborhood of New York, NY. When this kind of train makes ‘simulated stops’, it opens its doors on the opposite side of the platform so that passengers do not board.
