NYC 6721, Utica, New York

A Miracle, Presented On Christmas. Utica & Mohawk Valley Chapter, NRHS Chapter's #6721 (B-11k 0-6-0, Alco Schenectady, 1913) NYC 6721 was returned to its long time display location in 2020 and reassembled in time to be blanketed by a recent snowstorm. After extensive repairs from a 2015 criminal incident where a runaway covered hopper was released by vandalism on the New York, Susquehanna, and Western Railway and crashed into the locomotive, it is again on display for station patrons of Amtrak and the Adirondack Railroad. Even a wreath was applied to the nose, as a a visit on December 18, 2020 shows the impressive former New York Central station in the background with some modern improvements.
